TERMINOLOGY
As Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art form, we use the Korean language to describe punching, kicking, blocking, form movements and counting during class. To use the language is optional and it’s at the discretion of each instructor. Speaking the Korean language is not a requirement and students are not expected to learn all terminology. Some of the terminology we use is included below to help you learn.
